He was predeceased by: his parents, James Broadus and Sadie Duffie Sanders; and his brother Richard Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Shealy Sanders; his children, Kevin Sanders (Susan) of Atlanta, GA, Todd Sanders (Lisa) of Pomaria and Charlotte Berry (Ronnie) of Newberry; his stepchildren, Kim Stiver (Brian) of Pomaria, Pam Shealy (Wayne) of Chapin and Artie Livingston (Melisa) of Prosperity; his grandchildren, Amanda Brewer, Adam Hudgens, Courtney Sanders, Reese Sanders, Konnor Sanders, Abby Stiver, Jackson Livingston and Margaret Livingston; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Brewer, Malakye Brewer, Randi Hudgens, Saylor Hudgens and Tucker Sanders.
