It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard Garland of Silverstreet, South Carolina, born in Greenville, Ohio, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Garland and Clora Elizabeth Garland; and his daughter Tara Alexis Garland Sims. He is survived by: his sons, Leonard David "Dicky" Garland, Jr. of Silverstreet and Scottie Allen Garland of Newberry; his siblings, Sherry Renee Roberts of Swansea, Linda Kunkler Garland, Danny Joe Garland of Greenwood, Ronnie Dwayne Garland of Newberry and Terry Kunkler Garland; and his grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Michelle Meetze, Brittany Nicole Storey, Jacob Reid Garland, Corey Mitchell and J. R. Adams. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
