She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Wyman Mixson and Alma Mixson; her husband Woodrow Mixson of Grays; her grandson Shawn Boyd; and her great grandchild Anna Grace Corley.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Mixson Kinard of Grays and Steve Mixson (Gail) of Grays Hill; her grandchildren, Robin Corley (Brandon) of Varnville, Rachael Todd (Jeremy) of Grays Hill, Courtney Wilbanks of Queens and David Mixson (Annie) of Grays Hill; and her great grandchildren, Dallas, Jonathan Todd of Grays Hill, Nathan, Jacob, Caleb Corley of Varnville, Skyla, Carter and Esau of Grays Hill. She is also survived by her friends and family.
The family suggests that those who wish may send memorials to the Pine Level Baptist Church.
