He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Wayne Holbrooks and Mildred Lucille Stancil Holbrooks; and his brother Wayne Holbrooks. He is survived by: his wife Connie Ann Patterson Holbrooks; his children, Geof Holbrooks of Westminster, Gerrad Holbrooks (Amber) of Seneca, Geremy Holbrooks (Briana) of Westminster, Dana Owens (Matt "Rojoe") of Seneca and Cambria Smith; his brother Alex Holbrooks of Charlotte; his nephews, Anthony Holbrooks and Keith Holbrooks; his stepmother Dorothy Holbrooks; and his parents-in-law, Pat and Tyler Nix. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
