She was predeceased by: her husband George Harry Hornick; her parents, Fred D. Cole and Irene Wicker Cole; and her siblings, David Cole, Elizabeth Cain, Mae Sutherland, Annie Ruth Hix and Annette Graham.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hornick (Linda), Diane Merrell and Debbie Cabaniss (Charles). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
