He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace Cloer and Carl Cloer Sr.; and his former wife Bobbie Cloer (Cox). He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Jarrett Cloer; his sons, Nathaniel Thaddeus (Nena) and Clayton Parnell (Linda); his grandchildren, Gabrielle Hinson, Nathan Cloer, Alexandra Cloer, James Cloer and Christian Cloer; his great grandchild Collins Hinson; his stepdaughter Julie Wilson Upton (Matt); and his brothers, Tom Cloer Jr. and Michael Cloer. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made in memory of Nat to Oconee Christian Academy in Seneca, SC, and the Baptist University of Florida in Graceville, FL.
