She was predeceased by: her parents, Rebecca Byrd and Oliver Byrd of Sullivan's Island; her siblings, Sarah Briley and Thomas Byrd; and her husband Bill Bowen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky King (Mike) of Seneca, Beth Curtis (Weston) of Chapin and Barbara Douglas (Richard) of Seneca; and her grandchildren, Ryan King (Elizabeth) of Charlotte, Thomas King (Danielle) of Charleston, Kelly King of Nashville, Brittany Bickley (Cliff) of Prosperity, Adam Curtis (Becca) of Lexington, Rich Douglas (Courtney) of Charleston and Lindsey Douglas of Clemson.
