She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil Laverne Hamilton of Seneca, SC; her parents, James Groarke and Ann Kitson Groarke; her son James Hamilton; and her siblings, Rita Groarke, Seamus Groarke and Desmond Groarke.
She is survived by: her daughter Ann Hughes (Rodney) of Westminster, SC; her siblings, Vincent Groarke (Ita) of Cork, Turlough Groarke of Street, England, Gerald Groarke of Cahersiveen, Albert Groarke (Helen) of Cork, Flannan Groarke (Mary) of Cork, Declan Groarke (Maria) of Skibbereen, Ireland and Anna Bermingham (Moss) of Cork, Ireland; her grandchildren, Lyndsey Massey (Jared), Tyler Hamilton (Brittany), Kyle Hamilton and Laura Hamilton; her great grandchildren, Rodney Massey and Grayson Hamilton; her daughter-in-law Cecilia Hamilton; and her sisters-in-law, Madge Groarke and Alberta Groarke.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home (311 SC-11, West Union, SC 29696). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at the Oconee Memorial Park (1923 Blue Ridge Blvd, Seneca, SC 29672).
