She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Sanford Whitfield of Seneca; her parents, Emanuel "Em" Chapman and Tilda Melissa "Daisy Mae" Fields Chapman; her daughter Julia Lavern Whitfield; her grandson Brandon Larry Whitfield; and her great grandchild Norah Ryan Whitfield.
She is survived by: her son Michael Whitfield (Dawn) of Seneca; her brother-in-law Dan Whitfield (Cely) of Anderson, SC; her grandsons, Matt Treadway (Deanna), Bradley Whitfield (Christy), Nicholas Whitfield (Bailey) and Caden Whitfield; and her great grandchildren, Mason, Mali Treadway, Brylee, Teagan Whitfield, Lucas and Sawyer Whitfield.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home (311 SC-11, West Union, SC 29696). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
