The memory of Harriette C. Scales in Seneca, South Carolina, born in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on June 6, 2024 at the age of 77, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, O. D. Campbell and Hazel Campbell; her husband Gilbert W. Scales, III; her children, Katherine Scales Crouse (Kevin) of Seneca, SC and William Daniel Scales (Desiree) of Spartanburg, SC; her grandchildren, Ashley, Eric Crouse of Seneca, SC, Quinn and Haddie-Lynn Scales of Spartanburg, SC; and her pet Sophie.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church (1860 Reid School Rd, Taylors, SC 29687). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (1215 V. E. S. Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24503).
