She was predeceased by: her husband John Brownlee Phipps; her parents, Wilber H. Price and Flossie Mae Reed Price; and her sister Dorothy Wagner. She is survived by: her children, John David Phipps (Mary) of Kinney, MN, Edward Allen Phipps (Joan) of Vernon, NJ and Debra Brownlee Simpson (late Robert) of Seneca; and her sisters, Luella Redner of Tampa, FL, Rhoda Segal of Seneca and Lorraine Cosh (David) of Spartanburg. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and three great great-grandchildren.
