Evelyn Pointer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Pointer of Seneca, South Carolina, born in Toccoa, Georgia, who passed away on June 4, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bethel Yearwood and Ione Yearwood (Ellard); her husband Joe L. Pointer; her siblings, T. J. Yearwood, Wayne Yearwood and Jeanette Findley; and her daughter-in-law Myra Pointer.
She is survived by: her sons, William Pointer and Gregory Pointer (Sheila); her daughter-in-law Patty Pointer Aguayo; her grandchildren, William "Joey" Pointer (June), Brooke Harwood (Robert), Brianna Jackson (Benjamin), Krysta Kokay (Justin) and Jarren Pointer (Carly); and her great grandchildren, Travis, Ethan, Ely, Ivy, Evan, Iris, Orion and Zander. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the best way to honor Evelyn's life of goodwill would be to perform a simple act of kindness for someone and spend quality time with loved ones.
