She was predeceased by: her spouse Jesse David Simmons; her parents, Edward Dickert and Mary Dickert; her former husband William Joseph "Billy" Holmes; and her daughter Sharon Renee Ross.
She is survived by: her sisters, Elaine, Helen, Brenda, Jane and Rita; her children, James Holmes and Michelle Holmes of Central; her grandson Justin Dennis Graham; and her sister Denise King. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
