With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Hamby of Seneca, South Carolina, who passed away on September 23, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Hamby and Ruth Watson Hamby; his wife Brenda Barnwell Hamby; and his siblings, Steve and Brenda.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Cole (Tony) of Piedmont, SC and Geneva "Shown" Rider (Keith) of Easley, SC; his grandchildren, Jason, Umbra, Matthew (Ania), Melissa (Cody), Leona, Livia, Sean and Darrean; his great grandchildren, Elijah, Caden, Kaylynn, Shiloh and Dylan; and his brother Eugene T. Hamby (Ewa). He is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
