He was predeceased by: his siblings, James "Bud" Cox, Melvin Cox, Charles Cox, Micheal Wayne Cox, Mildred Cox, Ruby Nell Cox Smith, Mozelle Cox Smith, Frances Cox Jenkins and Helen Louise Cox Leopard.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Cox (Beverly), Mark Cox, Mickey Cox, Mitchell Cox and Vickie Cox Hix (Joey); and his sister Hazel Cox Leopard (Shirley Ann Cox Wade Hendricks). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Courtney Cemetery (531 Old Clemson Hwy, Seneca, SC 29672).
