He was predeceased by: his sister Sara C. Martin. He is survived by: his wife Brenda L. Martin; his children, Jocelyn L. Martin Disher (George), Amon A. Martin, III and Theodore H. Martin (Renee); his grandchildren, Jarod Martin Disher and Leah M. Disher; his brother James N. Martin; his nieces, Hazel C. Hill and LaKecia A. Dorsey; his nephew Henry A. Dorsey, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Theda Bevans. He is also survived by eight grand nephews and nieces, one great grandnephew, one great grandniece, a host of cousins.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 6:40 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (502 E South 2nd St, Seneca, SC 29678). Viewing was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Trinity Baptist Church (504 S Oak St, Seneca, SC 29678). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Oconee Memorial Park (1923 Blue Ridge Blvd, Seneca, SC 29672).
