He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Lawrence and Evelyn Thrasher Sweney; his brother Johnny Michael Sweney; and his granddaughter Landyn Fowler. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Black Sweney; his daughters, Tammy Lee (Wilson) of Greenville and Amanda Fowler (Chad Brawn); his sister Susan Brock of Seneca; and his grandchildren, Braeden Bensch (Cole), Kyler Fowler, Parker Fowler and Charley Lee.
