He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Sheppard and Melody Sheppard; his grandchildren, Austin Sheppard, Bailey Mertz and Ayden Mertz; and his siblings, Wesley Sheppard, Thomas Sheppard, Larry Sheppard, Violet Schafer, Susan Garrett, Sandra Sheppard and Joyce Owens.
