He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Edwards Sr. and Belle Soles Edwards; his wife Linda Sue Kirkman Edwards; his sons, Terry Edwards, Leverne Edwards and Jerry Edwards; and his brothers, Larry Edwards, Howard Edwards and Fred Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Edwards, Jr. and Lisa B. Edwards (Ricky); his stepchildren, David Lawson (Kaye) and Pamela Smith; and his pet Jasper. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
