We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2024, at the age of 93, Barnwell Hugh Mixson of Seabrook, South Carolina, born in Sheldon, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Mixson and Gertrude Long Mixson. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Dean, Janet Player (Neal), Russell Mixson (Anita) and Barry Mixson (Michelle). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
A reception was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sheldon Baptist Church (15 Sheldon Baptist Church Dr, Beaufort, SC 29906). A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the Sandhill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Friends of Caroline's Cottage Hospice Care or Sheldon Baptist Church Building fund.
