He is survived by: his wife Gail Cook Kavanaugh; his children, Ken Jr. of North Carolina and JoBeth of Madison, GA; his grandchildren, Trey (Ashley) of Charlotte, NC, August of Savannah, Kennedy of New Orleans, LA and Kaylee of South Carolina; and his nephews, John and Frederick.
