With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred G. Stengel (Seabrook Island, South Carolina), who passed away on April 20, 2018 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Frederick; and also, Margaret Von Gunther Stengel and Whiskers. He is survived by: his wife Jenny Poore Stengel; his children, Frederick Scott Stengel (Susan) of James Island, William Shawn Stengel (Linda Sue) of Sumter, Kimberly Stengel McGhee (Patrick) of Irmo, Marguerite Lori Stengel West (Tim) of Mt and Pleasant; his grandchildren, Shannon West (Jamie), Leslie, Mathew, Blake Austin Stengel (Molly) and Drew Cameron Stengel; his great grandchildren, Logan West and London West; and his former wife Barbara Smith Stengel of Columbia.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Fred's memory to a charity of one's choice.
