He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Knotts and Eva Filyaw Knotts; his great grandchild Anna Kathryn Matthews; his daughter-in-law Vicki Knotts; and his siblings, Alvin Knotts, Ruth Tedder, Joyce Ashcraft and Evon Knotts.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Knotts of Scranton; his children, Tommy Knotts (Shelia) of Scranton, Terry Knotts of Scranton and Janet Matthews (Ronald) of Scranton; and his grandchildren, Erik Knotts (Sarah), Alex Knotts (Brooke), Lindsey Johnson (Ryan), Lisa Evans (Josh), Glenn Matthews (Fran), Scott Matthews (Emily), Bryan Knotts (Kelli), April Elender (Brian) and Corey Knotts.
