He is survived by: his wife Kaaron Epps Collins of Lake City; his daughters, Stephenie Collins Parrott (Gary) of Lake City and Beth Collins of Scranton; his grandchildren, Caitlin Smith (Ryan) of Scranton, Carlie Anne Smith of Scranton, Pearson Parrott of Lake City and Devin Parrott of Lake City; his sisters, Diane Mitchum (Tommy) of Kingstree, Carolyn Garland (Steve) of Rock Hill and Judy Richardson (Larry) of Anderson; his brother-in-law Eddie Epps (Karon) of Scranton; and his pet Dewey Joe.
