It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ted Walter (Scranton, South Carolina), born in Camden, South Carolina, who passed away on January 20, 2021, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Darlene Walter; and his aunt Mary Lou Munn. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Kirby Walter of Lake City; his children, Benjamin Walter (Allison) of Charleston and Grace Burch (Patrick) of Lake City; his grandson Jack Burch of Lake City; his brothers, Tim Walter of Mt. Pleasant, Perry Walter of Atlanta, GA and Paul Walter (Jennifer) of Hilton Head; his aunt Connie Walter of Florence; his parents-in-law, LaRue and Shelby Kirby of Lake City; his brother-in-law Roger Kirby (Pam) of Lake City; and his nieces and nephews, Amy Kirby, Lizzie Kirby, Kate Hall (Andrew), Celia Walter, Hanna Walter, Price Walter and Cooper Walter. He is also survived by husband for 33 years, a proud father and most recently a grandfather.
