Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Steve leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Cromwell Wise and Evelyn Mathews Wise; and his sister Ruth Wise Braveboy of Coward, SC.. He is survived by: his son James Stephen Wise Jr.; and his brother Norman Cornell Wise (Cecile). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Carolina Funeral Home Chapel (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Scranton, SC 29591). A reception was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
