She was predeceased by: her husband Larry Odell Thornhill; her parents, Freeland Wilkes and Annie Mae Lynch Wilkes; her nephew Josh "Scooter" Norwood; and her siblings, Dianne C. Coleman, Darvin Wilkes and Charlie "Buddy" Wilkes.
She is survived by: her siblings, Freeland "Pete" Wilkes, Jr. (Alleyne) of Coward, Melva Wilkes Norwood of Lake City, Shelby Jean Pate of Kingstree, Mary Lee Feagin of Coward and Susie Dease of Kingstree; and her sister-in-law Peggy Wilkes of Coward. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
