She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Edward Calcutt and Bertha Elise Hanna Calcutt; her son John Robert Poston; and her siblings, Nora Bazen, Ovid Lyerly, J. Q. Lyerly, Wallace Calcutt, Kemp Calcutt, Evelyn Collins, Elise Lawrimore, Miriam Lawrimore, Coolidge Calcutt, Myrtle "Sallie" Moore, Myrtice "Midge" Humphries and Ulmer Calcutt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Allen (Ken) of Piedmont and Pamela Langston (Paul) of Clayton, NC; her daughter-in-law Robin Poston of Conway; her grandchildren, Seth Allen (Courtney) of Easley, Kate Baggett (Grant) of Pendleton, Kent Langston of Boston, Jane Langston of Chapel Hill, Henry Poston (Tangie) of Conway, Mary Poston of Washington, DC and Abby Poston of Clemson; and her great grandchildren, Rivers Allen, Riggs Allen and Ellis Baggett.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Union Baptist Church (1101 W Hwy 378, Gresham, SC 29546). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Foothills Presbyterian Retirement Community (205 Bud Nalley Dr, Easley, SC 29642).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Baptist Church, 1101 West Hwy 378, Hannah, Pamplico, SC 29583.
