It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherrie Brookens (Scranton, South Carolina), born in Renovo, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 26, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Leroy "Tuny" Herritt and Annabelle Jesberger Herritt; and her brother Stanley Herritt. She is survived by: her husband Art Brookens; her children, Jennifer Scrimshaw (Meco) of Largo, Wayde Brookens of Mill Hall, PA, Tammy Altman (Wayne) of Johnsonville and Tara Brookens of Johnsonville; her grandchildren, Mark A. Scrimshaw (Cynthia), Megan Brookens, Dyllan Brookens, Hailey Brookens, Chris Brookens (Blake) and Matthew Altman; her great grandchildren, Jayden Scrimshaw, Jordyn Scrimshaw, Lillie Brookens and Hayes Brookens; and her siblings, Sandra Stroup (Harry), Richard Herritt and Cindy Purvis.
