We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2022, at the age of 77, Richard Lloyd Kirby (Scranton, South Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene M. Kirby and Lillie Bell Lynch Kirby; his wife Gail Morris Kirby; his daughter Kimberly Michelle Atkinson; and his siblings, Rudy Kirby, Darvin Kirby, Ruby Lee Matthews, Manning Kirby, Barbara Ann Osborne, Roger Dale Kirby and Margaret Kirby.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Smith (Rodney) of Cades and Chris Kirby (Melanie) of Turbeville; his grandchildren, Brittney Cooke (Dusty) of Cades, Dusty Smith (Ashley) of Andrews, Kriston Brown (Justen) of Scranton, Megan Van Ausdoll (Jacob) of Coward, Colby McDaniel (Raven) of Lake City and Kristopher Kirby (Magan) of Timmonsville; and his close friends, Edward and Charlene Floyd of Coward. He is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; number of nieces and nephews.
