With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pressley Pate of Scranton, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on November 17, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Bethune Pate and Gertrude Wall Pate; and his grandparents, D. P. Wall, Jessie H. Wall, Charles H. Pate, MD and Martha Inez Penelope "Nellie" Singletary.
He is survived by: his wife D. Sandra M. Pate of Scranton; his sons, Robert F. G. Pate (Alisa F.) of Scranton and Marvin Alan Pate (Lisa Jo F.) of Scranton; his grandchildren, Hayley P. Gause (Stanton), Ella P. Bair (Ryan), Emma E. Pate, Kiley R. Pate, Greta G. Pate and Bratten P. Pate; his great grandchild Olivia Rose Gause; and his sister Mildred P. Yarborough (Leon) of Scranton.
