He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley McCray Poston and Gussie Turner Poston; his former wife Doretha "Rebe" Creel Poston; and his siblings, James Poston, Hasford Poston, Vivian P. Hodges and Ruth P. Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Owens Poston of Scranton; his stepdaughter Michelle Miller of Lake City; his siblings, Maxie E. Poston of Florence, Alberta Poston Ridgell of Florence and Terry Poston of Georgia; and his nephew Billy Daniels of Florence.
