It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pat A. Watson (Scranton, South Carolina), born in Brittons Neck, South Carolina, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Hasford "Hass" Watson and Bertha Martin Watson; his siblings, Joseph Lee Watson and Nyla Watson Richardson; his parents-in-law, Dorris Poston, Nita Prosser Poston and Dorothy Poston; and his siblings-in-law, Rachel P. Poston, J. D. "Bubba" Poston, Tracy Perry and Gene Perry.
He is survived by: his wife Jowendel Poston Watson of Pamplico; his son Patrick A. Watson, Jr. of Pamplico; his siblings, Charlie B. Watson (Joyce) of Britton's Neck and Joyce Watson Poston (R. J.) of Gresham; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Richardson of Britton's Neck, David Poston (Marie) of Pamplico, Robbie Perry (Lynn) of Pamplico, Mike Poston (Terri) of Conway, Josephine "Jodie" Jeffords Watson of Britton's Neck, Katie Haynes (Randy) of Pamplico and Sylvia Perry Porter (Neil) of Johnsonville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Charity of One's Choice.
