It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Gayle Strickland of Scranton, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Randall Strickland; her parents, Joel "Bubba" Weaver and Thelma Martin Weaver; and her siblings, Joyce Perry, Ricky Beard and Legrand Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Robbie Matthews of Pamplico, Christy Rogers (Clay) of Barrineau and Jackie Lahn (Matthew) of Duncan; her grandchildren, Shaun Matthews of Effingham, Brittany Matthews of Effingham, Cole Matthews of Aiken, Katelyn Stewart of Turbeville, Lenzie Rogers of Barrineau, Christopher Matthews of Florence and Katie Gallerani of Barrineau; her great grandchildren, Kaison Brown of Turbeville and Elly Brown of Turbeville; her siblings, Carroll Weaver (Renee) of Scranton, James Weaver (Charlene) of Scranton and Marjorie Kirby of Coward; and her stepdaughter Christy Prince of Cartersville, GA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
