She was predeceased by: her spouse Samuel Edward Springs, Jr.; her parents, Robert Wingate McKnight and Bernice Langston McKnight; and her daughter Patricia Matthews. She is survived by: her children, Samuel "Sammy" Edward Springs, III of Coward and Susan Springs Turner (Joe) of Pensacola, FL.
