We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2020, Melvin E. Barnett (Scranton, South Carolina), born in Pensacola, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Charlie Monroe Barnett, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Waters Barnett; his mother Janice Nall Barnett; his children, Christopher Earl Barnett and Sarah Grace Barnett; and his brothers, Montie Barnett, Michael Barnett and Matthew Barnett. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.

Memorial contributions can be made to a scholarship fund for Melvin's children that is being administrated by Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church.
