He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Kimbrel and Gladys Penny Kimbrel; his brother Roy Kimbrel; his sister-in-law Mary Jane Kimbrel; and his stepsons, Kenny Kellar and Jason Kellar.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Kimbrel of Lake City; his children, Charles Kimbrel (Edwenda) of Cumming, GA, Phillip Kimbrel (Michele) of Savannah, GA, Regina Flanagan (Ricky) of Richmond Hill, GA and Chuck Kellar (Donna) of Lake City; and his brother Tom Kimbrel (Theresa) of Jacksonville, FL.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
