It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Weaver (Scranton, South Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on April 23, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Jerry Legrand Weaver; her parents, Elbert Lee and Bliss Y. Lee; her sisters, Pauline Barfield Godwin, Janice Driggers and Thelma Deloris Lee; and her son Legrand "Buck" Weaver.
She is survived by: her sons, Glenn Weaver (Judy) of Lake City, Gerald Weaver (Jennifer) of Turbeville and Billy Weaver (Julie) of Lake City; her grandchildren, Dana Jordan (Matthew), Jenna Witherspoon (Jack), Caroline Hall (Garrett), Garrett, Josh Weaver, Rebecca, Hannah and Grace Weaver; her great grandchildren, Addyson Calcutt, Ella Bliss Jordan and Hadlee Witherspoon; and her sister Dorothy "Dot" Dennis of Scranton.
