He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Oliner Evans, Jr. and Laura Mae Tallon Evans; his son Matthew; and his brother-in-law Rev. Edwin Hanna. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Miles Evans of Scranton, SC; his children, Joshua (Lisa Evans) and Betsy Evans of Greenville, SC; his grandchildren, Reese, Weston, Mia Evans of Scranton, SC, Zoe and Sawyer Evans; his siblings, Dale Williamson, Beth Dent and Tom Evans (Mamie); and his siblings-in-law, Nelwyn (Dana Welch), Marcia Ramsey and Rhetta Hanna. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
