She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Roy Mims, Sr. and Elizabeth Norris Mims Green; her former husband Clell B. Floyd, Sr.; her husband Ronald Knight; and her brothers, Thomas Roy Mims, Jr. and William "Billy" Ellie Mims.
She is survived by: her children, Amy Floyd Hooten (Jim) of Columbia, Clell B. Floyd, Jr. (Stacy) of Scranton and Kim Floyd Blakeley (Mike) of Olanta; her siblings, Ann Mims Wilkins (Charles) of Flat Rock, NC and Herbert E. Mims (Linda) of Turbeville; her grandchildren, Graceyn Matthews (Patrick) of Scranton, Andrew Wright (Morgan) of Charleston, Marleigh Owens (Justin) of Lake City, Emily Beth Gladden (Austin) of Lake City, Carter Floyd of Scranton and Landon Blakeley of Olanta; her great grandchild Ellie B. Gladden of Lake City; and her stepchildren, Renee Knight McKenna (Dennis), Kenneth Knight and Mark Knight.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel Baptist Church (1520 N Jones Rd, Olanta, SC 29114). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
