He was predeceased by: his son Lurie Alexander, Sr. (Bertie Flowers Alexander); and his siblings, Reverend John Alexander (Sarah) of Hartsville, Reverend Nelson Alexander (Rose) of Florence, Mary Plass of Florence and Linda Poston (Roger) of Johnsonville.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Moore Alexander; his sons, Timothy M. Alexander of Myrtle Beach and Benjamin L. Alexander of Myrtle Beach; his granddaughter Kortney Alexander of Myrtle Beach; and his close friend Billy Hines of Garden City.
