She was predeceased by: her husband Phillip Preston Poston; her parents, Odell Lewis "Johnny" Owens and Nellie Mae Huggins Owens; her sister Rose Marie Owens Wilson; and her niece Mizzie Amanda "Mandy" Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Michelle Miller; her siblings, Glenn Owens (Jie), James Herbert "Herbie" Owens (Bitzie) and Marlene Owens Litchfield (Donald); and her close friends, Sharon Singletary and Alicia Varney.
