He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo O'Neal McKnight and Sally Fitch McKnight; his grandchildren, Austin McKnight and Taylor Cook; and his siblings, Deborah Smith, Deloris Smith, Diane Owens and Charlie McKnight.
He is survived by: his wife Avis McKnight of Florence; his sons, Ricky McKnight (Melinda) of Florence and Robbie McKnight (Susan) of Effingham; his stepchildren, Danny Llewellyn (Heather) of Union, Lenora Crowley (John) and Wayne Llewellyn of Conway; and his grandchildren, Curtis DuBose, Katlynn Llewellyn, Caden Llewellyn, Kylah Llewellyn, Cody Cook, Aaron Cook, Madison Llewellyn, Peyton Llewellyn, Eli Llewellyn, Mackenzie Llewellyn and Parker Llewellyn. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
