With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lena Mae Wall Avant of Scranton, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Douglas and Pearl Perry Douglas; her husband Robbie Matthew Wall; her sons, Rev. Michael Wall and Tony Wall; and her son-in-law Michael Duncan.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Duncan, Robbie Wall, Jr. (Cheryl) and Sidney Wall (Teresa); her grandchildren, English Miller (Rob), Emily Cox, Kelsi Rose (Daniel), Kacey Lambert (Scotty), Jessica Wall, Allie Wall and Lizzie Walker (Noah); and her daughter-in-law Debbie Wall. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (416 N Main St, Hemingway, SC 29554). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
