He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Jerome Ham and Myrtie Kirby Ham; his daughter Frances Margaret Ham; and his siblings, Billy Oscar Ham, Gretchen Myers, Wilbur M. Ham, Sr. and Carson J. Ham, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Elizabeth "Sinky" Willoughby Ham of Scranton; his children, Mary Ham Maness (Nick) of Rockingham, NC, Sarah Ham Wilkinson (Walter) of Pawleys Island and Kelly Whitfield "Whit" Ham, II; his granddaughter Bogan Temple (Will, MD) of Murrells Inlet; and his great grandchildren, Harry, Buford and Wallace Temple. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
