She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Lawrence James and Maurice Steele James; her husband Jimmy Anderson; and her brother Jesse S. James. She is survived by: her son Robert Scott Anderson (Kristy Thornbrew); her stepchildren, Cindy Faile (Christian) and Scotty Welch (Becky); her stepgranddaughters, Maggie and Anna; her sisters, Frances Davis, Carolyn Weaver and Wanda Carsten; her siblings-in-law, Larry Anderson (Shelby) and Norma James; and her close friend Gail Driggers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
