She was predeceased by: her husband Barney Lee Braxton; her parents, Mitchell Baxley and Margaret Stone Baxley; and her siblings, Clarence Baxley, Mitchell "Bubba" Baxley, James "Sonny" Baxley, Odell Baxley, Betsy Fields, Lucille Sims, Emma Kennedy and Lizzie Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Braxton (Linda) of Scranton, James Braxton of Coward and Renee Courtney (Marion) of Evergreen. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
