She was predeceased by: her husband John Maxie Gause; and her parents, Carl E. Miles and Mayme Margaret McKnight Miles. She is survived by: her son Dr. John Wesley Gause (Janice) of Florence; her grandchildren, John Maxie Gause (Anna) of Seneca, SC, Katherine Elizabeth Gause of Chicago, IL and Anna Miles Gause of Florence; her great grandchild Amelia Blake "Millie" Gause; her sister Joan Harrington (Richard) of Florence; and her caregivers, Katherine Singletary, Linda Doughty, Libby Collins, Emma Nettles, Brenda King, Teacia Bruce, Angela McIver, Loistene Harrison, Gloria Hickman, Rosa McClain and Pam Armour.
