She was predeceased by: her parents, Harmon T. Hardwick and Cleo Carter Hardwick; her husband Charles Edward Smith; and her brothers, Walden, Earl and Jimmy Hardwick.
She is survived by: her daughters, Anita Youmans (Billy) and Sandra Smith Coker; her grandchildren, Marsha Altman (Travis), Edward Coker (Christen), Amanda Errico (Dominick) and Sarah Ensminger (Shawn); her great grandchildren, Riley Coker, Luke Altman, Braxton Altman, Destiny Coker, Faith Coker and Santino Errico; her sisters, Deanna McKnight and Carolyn Scabery; and her sister-in-law Diane Hardwick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
