It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Wilkes of Scranton, South Carolina, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Troy Wilkes; her parents, Owens Lynch and Pauline Lee Lynch; and her sister Edna Eileen "Nancy" Tedder. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Braxton (Michael) of Scranton; her grandchildren, Courtney Shady (Michael) of Charlotte and Shane Braxton (Cayla) of Timmonsville; her siblings, Willard Levon "Rooney" Lynch (Kathy) and Jeanette Boyd; her great grandchildren, Lily Shady, Richard Lewis, Dean Seal and Ryan Seal; and her caregivers, Brenda Culick and Cayla Braxton.
